Who am I today ?
As I walked along my usual route, I noticed
The dance school, a place I've passed countless times.
However, today was different; the curtains were open,
giving me a clear view inside.
What caught my attention was the pink
and girly decoration.
I had one Idea in my mind for my next dance video
and that location seemed perfect for it.
I immediately called the number I found
on the flyer.
A charming woman answered the phone,
I expressed my interest in renting the dance
school for my video project.
We scheduled a meeting in her Burlesque school,
and during our conversation,
I told her that I need a room for my Dancing and in
in return, I offered to take pictures for her.
I showed her some of my previous work,
and she seemed impressed.
Now, we had a deal.
Meeting Bunny in person was exciting,
and I got more excited when she asked if I could come
to a Burlesque show the following week to take pictures of her.
I immediately said yes!
Wow,,,not only had I found the ideal location
for my video,
but I was also offered to witness the magic
of Burlesque for the first time.
I have a clear memory of arriving at the club
on a Wednesday evening.
The room had a cozy, mysterious vibe with neon lighting
with a small, charming stage.
The artists were rehearsing, and amidst them,
I found Bunny looking happy and excited.
I took some backstage pictures and was amazed
by the stunning beauty of the other Burlesque artists.
Their costumes, makeup, and confidence I felt like int the movie
Burlesque with Xtina Aguilera and Cher.
The place slowly filled up with people, mostly
women and couples dressed beautifully
in classic vintage fashion.
I felt euphoric witnessing the retro scene that I absolutely love.
And then, there she was – Bunny took the stage.
Her performance was so amazing that I had a hard time taking pictures.
I didn't want to miss a single moment of her beautiful act.

As the performance heated up, she undressed with
irresistible charm, leaving the audience mesmerized.
Bunny on stage was definitely not for under 18.
Bunny on stage was on fire!
Literally breathtaking.
Bunny off- stage, however, is a sweet Burlesque teacher
that used to be an English teacher before
she discovered Burlesque.
A woman that loves playing video games in sweatpants
and loves spending time with her Partner
with whom she is been together
for 20 years.
I watched some of her videos where
she talks about different personas she is embodying.
Despite her glamorous on-stage presence,
she revealed that she also had to handle practical
tasks like cleaning her school which seemed worlds apart
from her glamorous stage persona.
She explained that being a business woman
who must do less glamorous tasks
can totally coexist
with the Diva that I witnessed on stage.
Bunny's perspective resonated deeply with me.
I know how challenging it can be to blend creativity
with everyday responsibilities.
On one hand, we have our artistic side, full of passion
and a desire to create.
On the other hand, there's the practical aspect
of life that deals with everyday tasks like chores,
work, and finances.
It's like these two parts are pulling us in different
directions, and it can be hard to find a middle ground.
But Bunny's perspective offered a fresh take on this dilemma.
She suggested that we don't have to choose one over the other.
Having different personas for various events
can be incredibly exciting and empowering.
Each persona allows us to tap into different
aspects of our personality.
By accepting all aspects of ourselves, we can
find a balance that allows us to be true to our
creative spirit while still taking care
of our practical needs.
